November 19 is Going to Be a Big Day for Ace Attorney Fans
During Capcom’s broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2025, the company revealed a free update for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which will be released for players on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on November 19. Fans can expect some new modes and customization options, which will likely give players a reason to jump back into the unique world of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy.
First released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy was well received by large portions of the fanbase and was ported to the Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. The title contains 2001’s Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the first entry in the series, along with 2002’s Justice for All and the 2004 game Trials and Tribulations, all of which feature enhanced graphics and numerous quality-of-life changes. Now, players on all platforms can look forward to some additional enhancements, and they won’t have to wait long to try them for themselves.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Free Update Release Date

During its Tokyo Game Show 2025 presentation, Capcom revealed that a free update for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy would be released on November 19. As detailed in a new trailer, fans can look forward to a dedicated in-game music player, a Gallery Mode featuring art from the innovative Phoenix Wright world, a scene creator, and fresh voice and text customization options. Additionally, an Episode Selection feature will be added, and players can select Story Mode to automatically advance the story and solve puzzles without any input. New language options will include Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
This new update wasn’t all Capcom shared during its special presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Fans got a closer look at Pragmata‘s gameplay to kick off the event, with a new trailer highlighting the sci-fi title’s hacking puzzles and unique gameplay. The company also announced that C. Viper would be making her debut in Street Fighter 6 on October 15, along with a new outfit for Zangief. To commemorate the new outfit, the game will be collaborating with the metal band Cavalera Conspiracy.
There’s plenty more in store during Japan’s major gaming event, with Square Enix’s Tokyo Game Show 2025 appearance promising to highlight upcoming titles like Octopath Traveler 0 and Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, with the latter scheduled to be released on September 30. Fans can also look forward to more information about upcoming games from Sega, Xbox, Sony, Konami, and more in the coming days.
